Messages and email

The contact form collects your name, email address, and message so I can reply. Newsletter subscriptions are optional and require email confirmation. You can unsubscribe from any newsletter.

Messages and subscriber records are stored privately. Amazon SES handles email delivery. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for automated abuse. Hosting and content storage are provided through Vercel and Neon.

Understanding what is useful

Umami measures page visits and actions such as following an article link or requesting a subscription. Newsletter links include campaign tags so visits from a digest can be counted. These tags do not contain your email address or a unique subscriber identifier. There are no advertising trackers or email open pixels.

Your choices

Use the contact page to request access to or deletion of your messages or subscription details. Unsubscribe links stop future newsletters. Security and delivery records may be retained as needed to prevent abuse and respect unsubscribe requests.
